******Week 1 Post/Challenge Details******
Hello and welcome everyone. Jenny (Buttons) here reporting for duty with the next Frilly and Funkie Challenge. This fortnight's challenge is inspired by the Arts and Crafts movement and in particular the work of the designer William Morris. This group of artists and craftspeople believed things in their lives should be well made and hand-crafted. So for this challenge we want to see;
- muted colours (for example, the original Distress colours are perfect)
- natural elements (like flowers and foliage)
- and you must include an animal of some kind.
Now, here is some wonderful inspiration from the Frilly Design Team.
Sue Carrington - Stamping Sue Style
Rebecca~PaperPrimrose
Linda Coughlin - The Funkie Junkie
Whatever your vintage style, Frilly or Funkie, you are welcome to play along with our vintage inspired challenge. You may upload your project at any time. If using a public forum, please use keyword F&F. Please be sure to provide a link back to our challenge in your post. Please please please be sure to turn off your Word Verification so our design team can leave comments on your blogs. And don't forget, you can only play in 4 other challenges besides ours. We had a few entries that didn't qualify last time because they had entered too many challenges. From now on, we will be deleting those entries.
This challenge is open through 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on Tuesday, March 12th.
